DENTISTRY 2009 is seeking conference speakers with original presentations on the following topics:
• Innovations in CAD/CAM technology
• Developments in anaesthesiology
• Comparison of whitening techniques
• Preventing bone loss through orthodontic procedures
• Role of the laser in clinical dentistry
• Developments in infection control
• 3D simulations in oral implantology
• Immediate loading in oral implantology
• Cosmetic and reconstructive procedures following dental emergencies
• Trends in cosmetic surgery
• Microscopic surgery for endodontic procedures
• Obesity/smoking/diabetes – Risk factors for periodontal disease?
• Setting up, management and development of a dental practice
We appreciate your interest and welcome your submission. We reserve the right to review and accept only those presentations suitable for the programmes. The scientific committee will review all valid submissions. Submitters will be contacted individually about their submissions, only if accepted. We reserve the right to request or make last minute changes to any programme. Speakers that do not comply by given deadlines will be removed from the programme.
Required Material
• BIOGRAPHY and PICTURE
Tell us about you. Include both educational and professional achievements. The biography provided will be used to introduce speakers. Please include your biography in the online form or attach it as a word document or PDF with your email application. Your picture may be used in promotional material; please submit it by email in a jpg format.
• ABSTRACT OF LECTURE
Please supply a description of your topic. Be as specific as possible about the material you will cover in your presentation. Descriptions that are too short or vague will be considered incomplete. Please include your abstract in the online form or attach to your email application in a word document format. Each presentation should be 30 minutes in length.
• LEARNING OBJECTIVES
List three to four points that participants will be able to do at the end of your presentation. Please input this into the online form or include this in your email application.
• PRESENTATION MATERIALS
If accepted, we will require you to submit your presentation to us by email prior to the event. In addition, please bring your presentation with you to the Congress on a flash drive or your own computer. If you have a presentation ready for review; please submit this by email.
• FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE
In accordance with HAAD accreditation guidelines, all faculty participating in any CME supported activities are expected to disclose to the activity audience the existence of any significant financial or other relationships with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) or providers of any commercial services discussed in an educational presentation and or with any commercial supporters of the activity. Faculty must disclose significant support or substantial financial relationships with commercial entities in relevant situations whether or not there is direct commercial support of the CME activity.
Accepted speakers are asked to participate on a “gratis” basis. Speakers do receive FREE registration for the length of their applicable conference.
